Uganda faces critical energy challenges, with over 90% of the population relying on inefficient technologies. Women and youth are often excluded from the solution, representing only 15% of the clean energy workforce despite making up the majority of the population. The BES-TVET project is a 24-month scale-up initiative commissioned by IDRC and implemented by MUBS.
